Dance Instructor

Zoe Charles has been dancing since the age of three and has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, modern, and pom. Her passion for dance has taken her from the studio and competition stage to collegiate dance programs, national competitions, and professional auditions.

Zoe began her collegiate dance training at Oklahoma City University before continuing her education at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science while studying dance. During her collegiate career, Zoe was a member of the Oklahoma City University Pom Squad and became an NDA Collegiate National Champion in 2024.

Her performance experience includes portraying Clara and performing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, as well as appearing in productions of Evita and The Wizard of Oz. Zoe was also a Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Semi-Finalist and most recently advanced to the finals of the Carolina Panthers Cheerleaders auditions.

As an instructor, Zoe is passionate about helping dancers build strong technique, confidence, performance quality, and a genuine love for dance. She strives to create a positive and encouraging classroom environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and inspired to grow.

Zoe is excited to bring her experience, passion, and love of dance to Lake Norman Dance Gallery and looks forward to helping each dancer reach their full potential.
