Dance Instructor

Brookelyn Norman Sherrill is a passionate educator, curriculum leader, and former dance instructor whose career has been centered around inspiring young people to learn, grow, and believe in themselves.

Brookelyn’s journey began right here at Lake Norman Dance Gallery, where she trained and performed as a dancer. Her love of dance and mentorship eventually led her to teaching and working with a high school dance team, where she helped young dancers develop their technique, confidence, teamwork, discipline, and dedication.

Today, Brookelyn brings her creativity, leadership, and passion for education into her role as an Administrative Curriculum Specialist for a childcare facility. She works closely with teachers to enhance classroom experiences and create engaging, meaningful learning opportunities for young children. Her background in education, leadership, and the performing arts gives her a unique perspective and allows her to connect with students in a way that is both creative and intentional.

As an instructor, Brookelyn is passionate about creating an encouraging environment where dancers feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. She loves helping young dancers discover their confidence, develop a strong work ethic, and find joy in the art of dance.

A Mooresville native, Brookelyn is proud to continue giving back to the community that helped shape her. She lives locally with her husband, Chris, and their child, Porter, and is thrilled to return to Lake Norman Dance Gallery to share her love of dance and education with the next generation of dancers.
