Dance Instructor/Choreographer

Alexa Weir is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She currently performs as a Carolina Panthers TopCat and previously danced professionally with the Charlotte Hornets, bringing elite industry experience into every class she teaches.

Growing up in the competitive dance world, Alexa earned numerous national titles, overall high score awards, and scholarships before transitioning into a successful professional career. As a choreographer, she has created multiple top-scoring competitive routines, including Victory Cup-winning choreography, recognized for both its technical excellence and artistic innovation.

Her professional performance credits include music videos, concept videos, and appearances in prestigious industry showcases, including Choreographer's Carnival and Moves at The Montalbán in Hollywood, California. Produced by Break the Floor Productions and presented by Capezio, Moves celebrates emerging choreographic talent and showcases finalists for the prestigious Capezio A.C.E. Awards.

Throughout her career, Alexa has trained with some of the dance industry's most respected educators and choreographers, including Shannon Mather, Blake McGrath, and Frankie Zulferino, continually refining her artistry, versatility, and approach to dance education.

Alexa is committed to developing technically strong, confident, and well rounded dancers. She believes great training extends beyond perfecting steps. It builds work ethic, resilience, artistry, and self confidence. Her goal is to create an environment where every dancer feels challenged, inspired, and empowered to reach their highest potential while discovering their own unique voice as an artist.
